Journey to the West: Hongjun Asked Me to Spread the Dao Across the World from the Start

Li Xuan transmigrates to the world of Journey to the West and gains the Dao-Preaching System, taking Sun Wukong and Yang Jian, who are locked in fierce combat, as his disciples.

An old Daoist who calls himself Hong Kun comes knocking, deeply enamored with Li Xuan's boundless Dao of Evolution. He respectfully calls him the Dao Ancestor and asks him to preach the Dao throughout the world.

Li Xuan laughs and takes the old Daoist as his junior fellow disciple. He establishes the Carefree Dao Sect and sends his disciples to preach across the major continents, drawing followers from everywhere.

Buddhist temples, Jade Emperor halls, and Daoist temples all over the land are transformed into Carefree Daoist Temples.

Tathagata: Buddhism was supposed to flourish. How did all the temples and incense offerings disappear?

The Jade Emperor: The Four Great Continents of the Three Realms are in complete chaos!

The Sages: The Sages' traditions are in danger! Why isn't the Dao Ancestor doing something?

Hongjun: Heh heh, I'm hiding here with the Carefree Dao Ancestor, exploring the Great Dao!
