Waiting for You Beneath the Paulownia Rain

The tree is still the same parasol tree, and the rain is still that same parasol rain. Are they still the same two people from years ago? Their reunion comes after all. Eight years of separation bring them back to their first encounter. They pass each other by, the latest turn in their story. True love is like uncut jade, able to withstand the polishing of time; it is like flowing water, able to overcome the barriers of cliffs. They cross mountains and rivers, driven only by an unyielding devotion in their hearts and the beautiful past they cannot forget. At last, they finally clasp hands, finding a true love that breaks through reality and holding on to it. In the twenty-first century, many of our love lives are still shaped by all kinds of traditional beliefs. This book recounts the ups and downs of a simple love in modern society, using the experiences of its protagonists to illustrate this innate, genuine affection. Beneath the parasol rain, a generation's worldview unfolds. Along life's journey, two hearts bear witness to love at first sight.
