Journey to the West: I'm Heaven's Chosen Demon Hunter, and I'm Capturing the Great Monkey King!

Jing Ze transmigrates into the world of Journey to the West and binds himself to the Destiny-Blessed Demon Catcher System.

He owns a small Taoist temple called Tongtian Temple and accepts the quest to “revitalize the Taoist faith.”

Whenever a worshipper puts an offering into the merit box, his cultivation improves.

Whenever his cultivation improves, the System gives him a reward.

After resolving the crisis of countless demons plaguing Chang'an City and capturing the Red-Rumped Horse Monkey, one of the Four Divine Monkeys, Emperor Tang places a single merit coin in Tongtian Temple’s box, and Jing Ze immediately becomes a terrestrial demigod.

They say that if he can get his hands on the demon cores of all Four Divine Monkeys, Jing Ze can seize the power of creation itself and roam free beyond the Three Realms!

But... one of those monkeys is Sun Wukong...

“Rebellious monkey! Hand over your demon core, and we can part on good terms! Otherwise, hmph~!”
