Journey to the West: I Won’t Fetch the Scriptures, I’m the Six-Eared Macaque

Jing Ze transmigrates to the world of Journey to the West and, from the start, lays low inside the Divine Stone of Creation for a hundred thousand years.

Sun Wukong is his older brother, but he himself is the Six-Eared Macaque!

The Four Divine Monkeys descend into the world, and the Three Realms will know no peace! The mortal world lies in ruin, Heaven collapses, and flames engulf Spirit Mountain!

What's so great about going on a pilgrimage for scriptures? What's so satisfying about becoming a Buddha?!

I'll take the Golden Cudgel**!

I'll help you alter the Book of Life and Death!

If Heaven dares tell you to stand aside, I'll make the Jade Emperor bleed!

But fate isn't so easily changed. Sun Wukong takes the blame for Jing Ze's mischief, and in the end still sets off on the journey to fetch the scriptures.

"The gods and Buddhas filling the sky can't be trusted, bro. I'll watch your back!"
