A Hundred Job Interviews: I Was Forced to Start a Business

"I really never planned to start a business. Back then, nobody wanted to hire me, so I had no choice but to become an entrepreneur."

"I don't care about the money. I just wanted something to do. We only live once, after all, and we should contribute something to our country and society."

"Stop praising me. I'm perfectly ordinary. I just got lucky and came along at the right time."

In an interview with reporters, Lin Yi, the richest man in the country, makes the above remarks with a shamelessly self-deprecating air.

The internet erupts in a chorus of groans. Lin Yi shrugs helplessly. After all, everything he said is true.

Can you imagine how despairing it is to fail a hundred job interviews? Starting a business really was forced on me.
