Hell on Earth

People today live in a numb era. Even their dreams have become passionate, while no one knows when the skies in their hearts will clear.

Living aimlessly, eating their fill while waiting to die, accomplishing nothing, being good for nothing: these have become labels for many young people. They don't even know what the point of being alive is. They just take it one day at a time.

But they never imagined that disaster would arrive so suddenly, or be so terrifying. Before disaster, eating was just a way to keep going. After it came, eating meant staying alive, or dying with dignity. No one knew what would happen after finishing a meal. Perhaps they wouldn't eat again for a long time. Perhaps nothing would happen, or perhaps anything could. That's disaster. No, that's not quite the right word. To be precise, it's a living hell.
