Forbidden Spell Mage: My Magic Is Too Brutal

One day, Bai Ye wakes up and finds himself transmigrated to another world.

He has only just started learning magic when he discovers that whenever he casts a spell, a ring of ancient hieroglyphs appears around him, causing his magic to grow explosively more powerful!

Fireball = Explosion magic, Megumin, the Crimson Demon Clan's greatest genius mage.

Lightning spell = Railgun, Misaka.

Magic sword = Excalibur, Saber.

Fire rain = Meteor Volcano, Akainu.

Bai Ye spends every day studying ancient scripts and magic, eating, and sleeping, enjoying a life of utter comfort, until a man calling himself Goblin Slayer shows up at his door.

Only after stepping outside does he discover that the world is home to the Elroe Great Labyrinth, the Great Tomb of Nazarick, the Jura Tempest Federation...
