An Actress Ruined My Family's Ancient Zither, So I Made Her Pay a Billion

A reality show about visiting people's homes has become a huge hit.

The show's premise is to have celebrities visit ordinary households and spend a day living like regular people. To put it plainly, they get free food and lodging.

When filming began, top star Chen Shuang'er barged into the courtyard house where Liu Jingchi lived.

As it happened, Liu Jingchi was playing the qin.

Feeling ignored by everyone, Chen Shuang'er grew furious and deliberately knocked over an incense burner, damaging Liu Jingchi's ancient qin.

After ruining it, the star didn't think much of it and said she would pay for the damage.

But just then, Liu Jingchi spoke up.

“Actually, this thing isn't that expensive.”

“A five-stringed qin from the Warring States period, once played by Gao Jianli as he struck the zhu.”

“At today's prices, you just need to pay ten billion.”
