That Actress Burned My Guqin, So I Made Her Pay a Billion!

A reality show about visiting people’s homes has become a huge hit.

The show’s premise is to have celebrities visit ordinary residents and experience a day in their lives. Put simply, they get free food and lodging.

After the show began, top actress Zheng Shuangshuang barged into the courtyard house where Liu Jingchi lived.

As it happened, Liu Jingchi was playing the guqin.

Feeling ignored by everyone, Zheng Shuangshuang grew furious and deliberately knocked over an incense burner, setting Liu Jingchi’s guqin on fire and ruining it.

After destroying the instrument, the actress acted unconcerned and said she would pay whatever it was worth.

But just then, Liu Jingchi spoke up.

“Actually, this thing isn’t that expensive.”

“This five-string guqin from the Warring States period was once used by Gao Jianli to play the zhu.”

“At today’s prices, you only need to pay ten billion.”
