2048: The Return of Spiritual Energy

“In the year 2048, spiritual qi revival began, and monsters ran rampant. Social order completely collapsed. The human population plummeted, with nine out of ten people wiped out. In the end, we hid underground and struggled through the earliest, hardest years.”

“Our ancestors only then discovered that the things left behind by the old clan leader, which we had once listened to as stories, were all true.”

“This world really does have spiritual power, monsters, cultivators, and perhaps even immortals and demons!”

“It was only for special reasons that Earth changed. Humans found it harder and harder to control spiritual power, and so it became nothing more than a legend.”

“But the revival of spiritual power was both the beginning of disaster and the birth of hope. As we gradually regained control of spiritual power, we emerged from underground and, step by step, became the masters of Earth!”

“And these days, we more often call spiritual power ‘energy.’”

“Students, the path of cultivation is extremely difficult. I hope you will remember the lessons our ancestors paid for in blood and tears, achieve something for yourselves, and use this power to resist the monsters and demons and protect our home.”
