I Opened a Restaurant to Catch Thieves, and It Became a Huge Hit

To catch thieves, Lin Fan rented a restaurant right across from their hideout.

His goal was to gather evidence so he could arrest them at any moment.

However, while he was collecting information, customers would come in and ask what was on the menu.

To avoid giving himself away by staying closed too often, Lin Fan had no choice but to become the head chef himself.

But to his surprise, a god-tier Thief-Catching System bound itself to him.

With the System's help,

his restaurant started booming.

The steady stream of customers left them with no time to catch any thieves.

To keep customers away, they came up with all kinds of bizarre rules.

One bowl of egg fried rice: 588 yuan.

One plate of boiled greens: 888 yuan.

In short, it all came down to one word: expensive!

But somehow, instead of driving customers away, this only brought in more and more.

Eventually, the team members all said, "Captain Lin, why don't we just give up? Wouldn't it be great to run a restaurant in peace?"
