Mercenary: My Genetically Enhanced Army Is Unstoppable

Su Chen, a biology scholar, went to the tropical rainforest of Heizhou to observe the habits of gorillas, but was unexpectedly captured and forced to become a mercenary.

For his first mission, he and his teammates went to rescue people from a human sacrifice ceremony held by the evil Voodoo cult.

A flaw in their plan left them surrounded by hundreds of brutal cultists, without a single weapon.

At the critical moment, Su Chen bound himself to an Animal Gene Modification System.

After injecting himself with gorilla genes, Su Chen became a one-man army on the battlefield. He beat hundreds of cultists single-handedly and rescued the hostages.

Having turned the tide, Su Chen was elected commander of the corps.

And so, a gene-modified army was born, soon to resound across the world.

In war, giving eagles the agility of monkeys creates a squadron of bombers.

For treasure hunting, give elephants the digging ability of pangolins, and they can tunnel through a museum and steal its treasures with ease.

For assassinations, give people gecko-like climbing skills, letting them scale walls and slip through windows to kill their targets without a trace.
