The Old Man Dies from the Start, and I Inherit His System

Yun Che transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a young Taoist priest at Deyun Temple..

He spends his days cleaning and drinking tea, living a leisurely, comfortable life.

He thought he would go on living peacefully like this.

But one day.

As Yun Che is cleaning beside a statue, a white-haired old man who looks to be in his sixties suddenly starts flailing around like a madman and shouting, "System! I've awakened a System!!"

And then…

The old man rolls his eyes back and dies..

As the old man breathes his last,

A golden light visible only to Yun Che flows into his body.

"Ding! Congratulations, brave young man. You have obtained the Daoist True Lord System! In this world of spiritual qi revival, I hope you will revitalize the Daoist sect. Fail the mission and you will be kille..."
