Daoist Cultivation: Starting in a Xianxia Novel's World

From the Yellow Emperor Xuanyuan's quest for the Dao from Guangchengzi, Daoist thought has run through the entire history of Huaxia.

The Three Sovereigns governed the world, and the Five Emperors established its order.

Ever since the teachings of Laozi and Zhuangzi gave rise to this school of thought, that has been the case, beginning in the Han Dynasty.

During the Eastern Han Dynasty, Daoism was established.

Daoist philosophy and Daoist religion complemented each other, and their influence spread far and wide.

Zhang Xuanqing, a believer in Daoist philosophy and Daoist religion, wakes up to find he has transmigrated into the world of an immortal fantasy novel, becoming an immortal himself.

But the immortal fantasy world, which is like the underworld, does not fit his understanding of what an immortal should be.

To pursue the immortal he believes in, Zhang Xuanqing chooses reincarnation, using the Daoist scriptures and classics to cultivate the immortal within his heart.
