Holding Your Hand for a Hundred Years

Chen Leshu has lived alone in this world for over 200 years. He doesn't remember who he is, where he came from, or why he's been able to live so long.

Today is Chen Leshu's 205th birthday, and Ning Zhibai said he would cook him a feast from scratch. Watching the busy figure in the kitchen, Chen Leshu couldn't help but reflect that it had been 97 years since this man, dressed in rags, had fainted in his shop in the middle of the day. Just as Chen Leshu had resigned himself to living out his days alone, this man had barged into his life. And now he'd been there for more than ninety years.

That night, Ning Zhibai curled up in Chen Leshu's arms, held his hand, and said, "Old Chen, we secretly made it through another year."

Chen Leshu squeezed his hand back and kissed his cheek. "Yeah. I feel like we can keep secretly living for many more years."

A flirtatious yet dependable gong with a fragile heart, and an outgoing, childlike shou who heals him.

Mostly set in modern society, with a fantastical premise. Let your imagination run wild. If that's not your thing, please don't read. Thanks!
