The Last Celestial Master: The Great Illusionist

After falling asleep, Bi Fang enters the world of a zombie movie as a magician. No, he's also a Daoist priest. In this world, Bi Fang is the only disciple personally taught by Qiusheng, a Daoist priest of the Maoshan Sect.

When Qiusheng leaves, the land is torn apart by warlords, and corpses litter the fields. The people are displaced, and unclaimed bodies can be found everywhere. The Maoshan Sect gradually falls into decline, and, to keep himself fed, Bi Fang has no choice but to become a magician, working as a Daoist priest in his spare time.

The seventh lunar month is Ghost Month, and the fifteenth is the Ghost Festival, when the gates of the underworld swing wide open. On that day, the wandering souls with no one to claim them are escorted by underworld officials to receive offerings from the living. It is customary to release water lanterns, burn paper clothes, set out offerings, and recite sutras to help the souls move on from their suffering.

As he has every year, Bi Fang presents these unclaimed souls with his signature act...
