The Tale of a Fake Genius

This is a world where the Way of Letters flourishes. A literary sage on the verge of sainthood is the equal of a martial grandmaster. Ordinary martial artists practice their skills and cultivate mysterious arts, while scholars read the classics of the sages and nurture a righteous spirit. They, too, can improve their cultivation. If inspiration strikes as they study the authentic works and writings of the sages, a moment of enlightenment can grant them an inheritance passed down from an earlier generation, sending their power soaring. The wonders of this inheritance are beyond the reach of martial artists.

The Son of Heaven of Zhou sits on the throne. Though imperial authority has waned, the Temple of the Sages upholds the appearance of unity. Beneath it, numerous feudal states stand like those of the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods.

A university student from Earth transmigrates to this world. With his "vast knowledge," he displays astonishing talent and shakes the realm. But who among the people knows that he is nothing more than a fake prodigy!
