Online Game: Punishment Mechanism

Good news for insomniacs: Nightmare Game is here! It offers 70 percent realism, while the remaining 30 percent is mental synchronization. This lets players' bodies rest in the real world, so after playing all day, they'll wake up the next day feeling refreshed.

There's just one problem: the game's reward system has been changed into a punishment system. How can players turn this bad situation around?
