The Magic Curio Shop on Saibolun Street and Its Shopkeeper

In this world, magic and science coexist. Anything magic can do, science can do as well, and whatever science cannot do, magic cannot do either. Electric lights and steamships exist, as do magic towers and familiars. One day in the year 1698 of the Christmas Calendar, a magician and his familiar arrive on Zobelon Street in Saint Peter, the kingdom's capital. And so begins a series of episodic tales.

Magic exists to serve people and fulfill their wishes. Though I am a magician with an utterly unremarkable record and no fame to my name, I hope that my hands and the magic they wield can bring about miracles with a warm and gentle touch.
