The Wingless

This is a world where everyone has wings.

This is the world of the Winged People, a race that considers reaching the summit of the Sacred Mountain its greatest honor.

But in the remote Sata Mountains, an unremarkable boy named Jiwei is a Winged Person who has yet to "spread his wings" at eighteen. In a world where farming, living, and even getting around all depend on being able to fly, he is undeniably incomplete.

He doesn't care that no one believes in him. He wants to prove that he is more than someone to be pitied. And so, with the Sacred Mountain as his destination, the boy sets out on a journey of his own.
