Great Tang: My Mother Is a Transmigrator!

"Son, Li Shimin was the second emperor of the Tang dynasty, not Li Jiancheng."

"Whatever you do, don't hang around with that Li Chengqian. He didn't inherit his father's destiny, but he did inherit his father's illness."

"If you're going to hang around with anyone, find a guy named Li Zhi and get on his good side... no, get him on your good side."

"I've written you a collection of three hundred Tang poems and lyrics. If you ever go to a poetry gathering or something, remember to bring it out and use it."

"My son must never embarrass himself in a setting like that."

"By the way, son, you're going to Chang'an this time to break off your engagement to Princess Changle."

"So you don't grow up to be a mama's boy, I'll leave this one to you."

When Zhou You arrived in Chang'an to break off his engagement, bearing the hopes of his mother, who claimed to be a transmigrator, he finally realized:

Mother, this isn't about keeping me from becoming a mama's boy.

You're trying to get your own son killed!
