Maybe it's a frog-in-the-well mentality. I've never heard of anyone whose high school life was as messy and wonderful as mine, so that today, more than ten years later, I am determined to record it. This is a novel, and it is a basically true novel, because everyone and everything in the book has been personally experienced by me. Maybe there are some exaggerations in some places, but it is definitely not fiction. My writing may not be that brilliant, but the story I want to tell is exciting enough.
