A Journey of Redemption

Forget the troubles of the mortal world. Next year, the flowers will bloom again.

Which is more despairing: helplessness or powerlessness?

After transmigrating to another world, the protagonist lost his mother and younger sister as a boy because he was too weak to save them. Overcome with grief and no longer wishing to live, he agrees to the request of the ancient World Tree, sending the source of life and the last descendants of the ancient Elven race to the elves.

He stays with the elves for a time, but his hatred of his own weakness leaves him consumed by guilt each day. In the end, he chooses to seal away those memories and travel the world, helping many people who have fallen into despair as he searches for his own redemption.
