Mother's Silhouette

My mother was once a gentle, wise, generous, and gracious woman. But she married the wrong man, gave up her whole life for him, and died with regrets. Some said she was good, some said she was bad, some called her deceitful, and some said she was kindhearted. Some said she was pitiful and ill-fated; others said she had no shame or that she worked herself to the bone and was doomed to a short life. No matter what others say about her, I believe my mother was the greatest and wisest woman of all! The older I get, the more I understand how hard things were for her.
