Top Student: From the Start, Dining on an Exorbitantly Priced Feast with My Senior

"Let me treat you," the senior student said.

"I'll pay," Xiao Yang replied.

"No, let me. It's my duty as your senior," she said with a smile.

So Xiao Yang and his senior went into a restaurant called the Feast King's Mansion, where she began ordering.

A 2002 bottle of Lafite, Russian caviar, high-mountain matsutake mushrooms, Australian giant lobster...

Xiao Yang stepped outside to take a call and never returned.

He skipped out on the bill!

Furious, the senior student called a reporter to expose him.

Reporter: "What are you most angry about?"

Senior student: "When a man and a woman go out to eat, have you ever seen the man make the woman pay? Xiao Yang, do you dare give me back the 20,000 yuan you owe?"

Reporter: "Xiao Yang, can you pay the bill?"

Xiao Yang: "I only ate one giant lobster and a bowl of rice, and you're asking me to pay 20,000 yuan..."

The bill-dodging scandal sent Xiao Yang trending, and before long he had become an all-around academic ace on campus.
