Journey to the West: The Invincible Holy Monk Signs In at Golden Light Temple for Fifty Years

Shen Chen transmigrated into a young novice monk at the Jinguang Temple of the Tang Dynasty. He thought he was in for an endless life of oil lamps and ancient Buddhas, but then he activated a sign-in System that could reward him for signing in anywhere.

Sign in at Anyifang and receive the Loulan Buddhist Sutras.

Sign in at the Golden Hall and receive the Mahayana Buddhist Sutras.

Sign in at the Dragon King's Palace in the East Sea and receive the Three-Staff Monkey-Beating Technique.

Shen Chen was determined not to leave until he was invincible, so he signed in at Jinguang Temple for fifty years.

Fifty years later, Bodhisattva Guanyin transformed into a rogue monk and tried every trick to persuade Shen Chen to journey west and retrieve the scriptures. Just as the two Western Saints were about to move against the human race's destiny, Shen Chen was finally forced to act.
