Great Tang: From the Start, I Launch the Xuanwu Gate Incident

A young man from the twenty-first century wakes up as Li Ke, the third son of Li Shimin.

It is just before the Xuanwu Gate Incident, and Li Shimin has yet to decide whether to kill his elder brother and force their father to abdicate.

Knowing that Changsun Wuji would never tolerate him and that his own future is destined to be tragic, Li Ke decisively forges an imperial decree from Li Yuan and executes Li Jiancheng, sending Li Shimin straight to the throne.

From then on, Li Ke wins the deep favor of Li Shimin and former officials of the Prince of Qin's household, including Yuchi Gong and Fang Xuanling.

Several years later, Li Ke's prestige eclipses all others in the Tang dynasty, and ordinary people call him the Sage Prince. Li Chengqian's position as crown prince is gravely threatened.

At court, Changsun Wuji and Hou Junji accuse Li Ke of plotting rebellion, and Li Shimin believes their slander.

At the brink of disaster, Li Ke cuts off Changsun Wuji's head with a single stroke and orders the Dragon Cavalry to surround the Taiji Palace. He looks calmly at Li Shimin and says:

"Since Father has decided that I am rebelling, then I may as well rebel for real."
