Faking an Imperial Edict from the Start and Scaring Li Er Senseless

A young man from the twenty-first century woke up as Li Ke, the third son of Li Shimin.

The Xuanwu Gate Incident was imminent, and Li Shimin had yet to decide whether to murder his elder brother and force his father to abdicate.

Knowing that Changsun Wuji would never tolerate him and that his future was destined to be miserable, Li Ke decisively forged an imperial edict in Li Yuan's name, executed Li Jiancheng, and put Li Shimin on the throne.

From then on, Li Ke won the deep favor of Li Shimin and former officials of the Prince of Qin's household, including Yuchi Gong and Fang Xuanling.

A few years later, Li Ke's reputation eclipsed all others in the Tang Dynasty. The common people called him the Sagely Prince, and Li Chengqian's position as Crown Prince was under serious threat.

At court, Changsun Wuji and Hou Junji accused Li Ke of treason, and Li Shimin believed their slander.

At the brink of despair, Li Ke cut off Changsun Wuji's head with a single stroke, ordered the Dragon Cavalry to surround the Taiji Palace, and looked calmly at Li Shimin:

"Since Father has decided that I am rebelling, then I may as well rebel."
