The Census Exposes My Thousand-Year Age

An old man lives in a traditional courtyard house in Kyoto.

Li Xian had hoped to spend his days flirting with the old lady next door, but he was exposed during the seventh national census.

"Sir, based on how many years you've been collecting your pension, you must be over a hundred. Could you tell us the secret to your longevity?"

Faced with the reporter's question, Mr. Li got angry. "Why are you insulting me? I'm over a thousand years old, and you say I'm only a hundred-something?"

"There's no secret to longevity. Eat when you're hungry, drink when you're thirsty. Look at me, I'm over a thousand and still full of life."

The camera turned to Li Xian, who lifted a three-hundred-jin barbell with one hand. The internet was stunned, and the video went viral.

Reporter: "Holy cow, that old man!"
