Prologue:
Do not say life is hard, for wild beasts endure far worse;
They stake their lives to survive, and live up to the gift of heaven.
They exhaust every effort just to stay alive, yet still take pleasure in the slaughter;
Pitiful is the road of no return, where hot blood is offered to Xuanyuan.
A vast prairie, a mighty lion, a band of companions: together they tell a tale of passion, worthy of heaven.
Tuba the lion's father dies in defeat in the Battle for the Lion King. Tuba is forced to flee with his mother, and falls from a cliff.
Tuba is rescued by his master and grows up in his master's village. There, he makes friends and enemies alike.
When Tuba grows up, his master locks him in a cage and sends him to the zoo. But Tuba escapes along the way and returns to the prairie.
Back on the prairie, Tuba is determined to find his mother, learn what happened in the lion pride back then, and avenge his dead father, Herto.
Through his own efforts, Tuba finds his mother, whom he has been separated from for many years, only to be discovered by his enemy, Clay. Clay takes out his anger on Tuba's mother and kills her.
Tuba now bears a blood feud...
