You've Touched a God's Scales

"Father, why doesn't Sister Feng Qi play with me anymore?"

After a moment of silence...

"Because she lost the protection of the only person ever called a 'god,' and was locked away."

"Sister Feng Qi isn't a bad person, so why did they lock her up?"

"Because she was the person that god loved most."

An old man held the hand of a child and gazed up at the increasingly crystal-clear sky, then let out a sigh.

Ever since the Battle to Slay the Gods, the Great Unity World had lost more than ninety percent of its experts. The god who had stood above the entire world and was also the only one who could save her had fallen.

The child drooped his head and asked,

"Does that mean Sister Feng Qi won't be able to play with me anymore?"

"Maybe. Unless that god comes back to life."

"Father, then let's pray together that the amazing god comes back to life and rescues Sister Feng Qi!"
