Great Tang: Li Er Kneels and Begs Me to Come Out of Retirement

Liu Che accidentally transmigrates to the Tang Dynasty while taking part in a wilderness survival show.

One day, three strange people suddenly show up.

They're dressed in ancient clothes, and it's clear from their conversation that they're no ordinary people.

Li Er: What kind of crop is this? How can its yield be so high?

Liu Che: Did acting fry your brain? What's so strange about potatoes?

Fang Xuanling: Your Majesty, if we cultivate this tuber crop in the Tang Dynasty, our empire is sure to prosper!

Liu Che: You're taking your roles way too seriously. You're making a fuss over a potato!

Zhangsun Wuji: Your Majesty, this young man is a great talent. We can't let him waste away in the mountains!

Liu Che: You've got to be kidding. I'm not going down the mountain. I need to collect my prize money!

It isn't until one day, when Li Shimin arrives in imperial robes with all his officials and kneels to beg Liu Che to come out of the mountains, that Liu Che finally understands.

The man who kept coming up the mountain was actually the emperor...
