Showbiz: The Richest Man Is My Number-One Hater

As a film-school graduate who transmigrated here, Xia Yu is sure he can succeed when he bets his family that he'll make a movie.

He never expected that after four years at university and three films that became classics, each one would either flop or fail to pass censorship. All that hard work earned him countless haters.

Now it looks like his family is about to cut off all his financial support.

Luckily, he finally activated the Profligate Director System. The System lends him money to make films, with no upper limit on investment as long as it's spent on production.

And he doesn't have to pay it back if he loses money. He only has to repay it if he makes a profit.

So he immediately decides to make the most expensive film of all: Avatar!

Then he discovers that the biggest hater of this son-killing father of his is... his own dad?

But there's no way he's going home. What's not to love about this glamorous world of showbiz?

When Avatar finally hits theaters, even the biggest online smear campaigns can't hold back the buzz.

Yang Mi: "Xia Yu was born to be a director!"

Ya Ya: "Back then, he said he would pick the most beautiful leading lady, and I almost didn't even recognize myself..."
