After transmigrating into the world of Journey to the West, he found himself starting with the Tang Emperor leading his civil and military officials in a grand procession to see him out of the city and send him on his journey west.

Just as he was feeling lost, the System activated: work nine to five, weekends off, civil servant life. Meet the requirements and earn rewards.

Chen Wei rode westward under the gaze of countless onlookers, but he had barely gone a mile before he turned around!!!

Li Er: "Royal Brother?"

Chen Wei: "As the only Pilgrim, I work nine to five and get weekends off. It's five o'clock already, so this monk is off work!"

Li Er: "Whose idea was this? Guanyin's?"

Chen Wei: "That's right. Li Er, you're quick on the uptake!"

Guanyin: "???"

The demons on the journey west: "Capturing Tang Monk is hard enough, and now we have to watch the clock too. If we go after him after work, that bastard will kill us!"

The immortals' mounts and attendants who had descended to collect merit: "Never mess with Tang Sanzang after work. That guy is just too..."
