Honghuang: I Am Eastern Emperor Taiyi

The world was once chaos, and chaos was eternal. There was no heaven or earth, no living beings, no good or evil, no beauty or ugliness, no grudges or entanglements, no beginning or end. It was complete.

No one knew when it began, but the boundless spiritual energy gestating within this chaos gave birth to many powerful living beings amid its endless transformations. These beings came into existence through change, each with their own nature, yet ignorant of the heavenly will.

No one knew when it happened, but the Great Dao manifested. Hongjun began teaching, expounding on the principles of creating heaven and earth and setting creation in motion, and educating all beings through their suffering.

He accepted Pangu, who created the world; Nuwa, who created life; and Taiyi, who taught and enlightened, as his three great disciples.
