Me, a Street Loafer, Really Don’t Brag

"Yo!"

"Well, look who it is!"

"Here, have a Huazi! A Huazi!"

"I'm just out for a stroll!"

Li Qing swaggered down the street, bobbing his head as he greeted people he knew.

Passerby: "Who is that guy? Some kind of street bum? He's an eyesore. Why doesn't anyone do something about him?"

Li Qing: "I own this whole street. Who do you expect to do something about me?"

Passerby: "I heard street bums can really talk big. Why not say you're the richest man in the country while you're at it?"

Li Qing: "You found out who I really am?"

Passerby: "Sure, keep talking!"

Li Qing: "Why is it that nobody believes the truth these days?"
