The Heretical Path Is Still a Path

A hapless man with a fate full of misfortune: fighting the heavens leaves him battered and bewildered, while dealing with people means scheming at every turn and plotting each step. The more beauties who favor him, the better, but even when they are right there within reach, he still can't have them. It's not that he's incapable. The Heavenly Dao simply won't let him succeed.

After experiencing every shade of human warmth and coldness, and tasting all the bitterness and sweetness of life, he finally understands what cultivating the Dao really means. It's not that the Great Dao is heartless, but that when love runs deep, there is no root to bind it. It's not that the Great Dao is cruel, but that you still don't understand the true meaning of cultivation.

This unlucky fellow was stripped of his manly functions after accidentally discovering his master's affair. Later, he was cured, only for the Heavenly Dao to toy with him again and impose a law forbidding him from using them for fifty years. Talk about rotten luck! Then, during his tribulation, the Heavenly Dao schemed against him once more, and he ended up with a ridiculously vicious mortal-world tribulation! It might last ten years or so at the shortest, and over a hundred at the longest. Our story begins with this mortal tribulation, setting off one hilarious episode after another.
