Journey to the West: I Took Down Jin Chanzi from the Start

At the Leiyin Temple on Spirit Mountain, the Tathagata was preaching while Ye Chen sat daydreaming on his shoulder.

You daydreamed for an hour. Cultivation +1.

The System chimed. Ye Chen snapped back to his senses and spotted a Buddha down below slacking off.

Though he was currently a Golden-Winged Great Peng, before he transmigrated, he had been the class discipline monitor. He hated people who slacked off in class!

Without a word, he flew over and swiped at the Buddha with one claw.

"You killed Jin Chanzi in one hit. Courage +1."

The Tathagata: ╰_╯

Hundreds of years later, Ye Chen said, "Time to come clean. I'm not an Immortal Venerable. I'm a Heavenly Dao Sage. Now, pour me a cup of tea first."

The Old Lord: "It's only right to serve tea to Big Brother. Why say please? Are you looking down on me?"

The Tathagata: "If you look down on us, we'll be unhappy, and our hormones will get out of whack. We might even take a dump on your head..."
