I'm Trying My Best to Play the Fool

In a world where people sign contracts with gods and gain skills,

Lin Chen is born into a famous family of knights.

However, he's called a "good-for-nothing," renowned for his incompetence.

He does everything he can to control the power he was born with.

Humble and low-key, he's quite satisfied with his reputation as a good-for-nothing.

"I know that power that's too great can bring disaster."

But at the Magic Knight Academy, which he decides to attend after a strange incident,

he meets an unknown god who is scorned just like him.

The unknown god is beautiful, and he wants to protect her!
