In the old days, a broker worked between buyers and sellers, bringing them together in exchange for a commission. Brokers were also known as intermediaries, agents, or go-betweens.

For generations, the Ya family of brokers helped the Han family unify the realm, establish Xing City, and build the imperial capital. But the new crown prince believes the Ya family has too much power and schemes to destroy it. The head of the Ya family makes a risky move, sending the male lead, Ya He, to study the art of divine concealment under Ghost Master Ba, a man of the Mo Jade Bracelet who has never before taken a disciple from the Ya family. Is it to save the Ya family, or...?
