S9 came to a close with FPX taking the championship.
S10 begins. Will a new king rise to the throne, or will the old king defend his glory?
IG, the S8 champion team, also welcomed a new support player, theskr Gao Mifeng.
In an interview after their victory in the first match of the spring split, theskr said, "I have a dream: to give supports a C!"
After making that bold claim, Mifeng proved time and again on the field that supports can carry too!
He sparked a support trend that dealt damage and enraged everyone.
He fixed one of IG's biggest problems: a lack of vision.
He made Ning, who was focused on dealing damage, willingly build tank items and dive in to bait the enemy.
He made other teams give up hope of winning the championship.
During his time on the team, the other teams' slogan was: Our goal is to finish second!!!
