Tales of a Trickster

An elderly couple have been together for so long that, over the years, they have each built walls around themselves in both their lives and their thoughts. They no longer speak their minds or share what they see and hear in their daily lives. Even talking to each other requires caution and careful consideration before either of them can say a word. Their memories are gradually fading, and they don't know why. By the end, the male protagonist remembers only that the female protagonist, Duoxia, is his wife. Everything else is left for him to search for in his memories.
