The Secret of '99 Can No Longer Be Kept

During humanity's war of defense in 1999, Li Zhen held off an enemy army of 200,000 by himself, buying precious time. In the end, the enemy was wiped out at the cost of 1.8 billion elite fighters, ensuring the survival of the human race.

After the victory, every elite who fought signed a confidentiality agreement, and the memories of all ordinary people were erased. No one remembered those glorious years, now buried in the past.

Twenty years later, Li Zhen, commander of the first assault regiment in the Huaxia district, came back to life. An endless chill welled up inside him:

"The elite who sacrificed themselves don't deserve to be remembered?"

"Why did you forget us after the war was won? You must remember the history of 1999. Otherwise, you die!"

"Bring me my blade!"

"..."

We once fell before the demons to protect the survival of the human race.

If one day humanity in the mortal world is no longer worth protecting, I will become a demon!
