Great Tang: One Hundred Riflemen Before Xuanwu Gate

On the morning of the fourth day of the sixth month in the ninth year of the Wude era of the Tang dynasty, Li Jiancheng stormed the Taiji Palace with a hundred musketeers and forced Li Yuan to write an edict naming his successor. Three hours later, Li Shimin charged straight through Xuanwu Gate with his men.

Watching his second younger brother gallop toward him, Li Jiancheng gave a slight wave.

"Bang, bang, bang!"

The volley of gunfire behind him rang out as one, smoke billowing and blotting out that chapter of history!
