Pokemon: I'm the Cheat Code

Mei Lin has always wondered why Trainers have to shout out the names of moves during Pokémon battles. When Xiao Zhi yells, "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!", isn't he just warning the opponent to watch out for the attack?

Or perhaps it's because someone has to provide commentary?

Whatever. I'd better figure out how to beat Mr. Dan Di, who has never lost a battle, in this tournament.
