Online Game: Building Another World from Scratch

Lord Duwei, that bastard, owes the Empire three years and one month of taxes. He's getting ready to flee in the middle of the night with his sister-in-law... no, his younger sister! But at the last moment, he awakens the Legion Recruitment System, which lets him summon the ultimate wage slaves: players!

Male Player A: "Today's daily quest is kind of weird. What do you mean, help Lord Duwei abduct the elven princess?"

Female Player B: "My quest is to sneak into the lord's room at midnight to learn an advanced skill?"

Male Player C: "*#! My quest is to assassinate a duke. There's no way I can do that!"

Inside the lord's manor, Duwei strokes his chin and pinches a little lizard.

"The players seem kind of lazy lately. Maybe I should make it a dragon and have it raze a city, so they lose a few levels and wake up."

Command executed successfully.

Roar! The terrifying demonic dragon's wings blot out the sky. The fires of hell sweep across the continent, and the world falls into ruin.
