Arknights: Becoming Human

My memories are incomplete. I have no name, and my personality has yet to fully take shape. What purpose was I born for?

I often ponder this question. I don't know who I am. All I have for company is the flame I was born with.

On this land called Terra, pain, betrayal, and despair have shaped this world, and I am its companion creation.

"I have no dreams, but I want to protect the dreams of others."

"If I burn my flame to ashes, will it give you a little light to guide you forward?"

"Have I become human?"

The blood-soaked man knelt on the ground, smiling with childlike innocence as he asked the cloud-covered sky. No one could answer him. All around, blood flowed like a river.

I'm no good at writing an introduction. Read the story yourself.
