The Pear Blossom Romance Lives On

One petal, two, three... As if to please her, pear blossoms drifted gracefully down like little white spirits. They caressed her face and tickled her neck. Yang Guifei danced gracefully for Emperor Tang Xuanzong amid a rain of pear blossoms... Who should she dance for? She stretched out her arms and caught the petals, which would not melt like snowflakes. Pear blossoms did not feel as cold as snowflakes, and they would not vanish so quickly either. She liked that. She did not like things that faded away easily, such as love.
