I Don’t Want to Deliver Packages

In the year 2100 of the Xia calendar, the world suddenly undergoes earth-shattering changes, and the age of spiritual qi revival arrives. It is the best of times, because anyone, no matter how ordinary their origins, has a chance to make a name for themselves. It is also the worst of times, because creatures other than humans have changed as well. Vampires, werewolves, zombies, and even legendary beings like dragons have appeared, squeezing humanity's living space even smaller.

But Wei Lin seems to have been born a little too late. Born a hundred years after the start of this new age, he seems to have missed out on those best of times. Now that the world has settled into its new order, when one in ten people is an Ascendant... making a name for yourself? Not a chance.

"Why? I'm an Ascendant. I can take on ten people by myself. Why should I have to deliver packages?"

"You unemployed old NEET, why do you have so much to say? Are you going or not?"

"Hey, Auntie, don't hit me! I'll go, okay..."
