History of the Warring States Period

This book describes the period in China from when three families were divided into the Jin Dynasty in 406 BC to when King Qin was proclaimed the First Emperor in 221 BC. The male protagonist Li Xiang travels through the troubled times of the Warring States Period and helps the weak Qin State achieve its great cause of unification. He is a veteran of seven dynasties, but he has never aged. He invented the musket, which allowed Qin to accelerate its unification war. King Qin Huiwen, King Qin Wu, King Qin Zhaoxiang, Qin Shihuang and other Qin kings were all taught by the protagonist. From the time Qin Xiaogong re-employed Shang Yang and started the reform, to the end of Qin's unification. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
